Challenges in Interdisciplinary Teaching

Having celebrated interdisciplinary teaching and learning for the past 3 episodes, today’s episode acknowledges that teaching and learning through interdisciplinary approaches can have their own challenges. For this reason, we feature Dr. Shannon Leddy, Dr. Hartley Banack, Dr. Marina Milner-Bolotin, and Dr. Sandrine Han, sharing their knowledge on the challenges they face or witness teachers having, plus their own thoughts and solutions.

Sandrine Han, PhD., is located at British Columbia and was a tenured Associate Professor at UBC specializing in art education and education technology. While at UBC, she taught in Secondary art education teacher education program for the past 10 years and supervised many graduate students. She is a BC certified teacher, worked at public and private elementary school in Taiwan and in BC. She has been invited as keynote speakers at international conferences. Sandrine has numerus publications and presentations in the field of education, art education, and education technology.
