About Sandrine

Sandrine is from British Columbia and was a tenured Associate Professor at UBC, specializing in art education and media and technology education . While at UBC, she taught Secondary art education teacher education program for the past 10 years and supervised many graduate students.

She is the founder and president of the International Art Education Association. She Chaired 2 international virtual world art education conferences and co-chaired CSEA virtual conference in 2021. Her articles have appeared in the Canadian Review of Art Education, Studies in Art Education, Art Education, and Journal of Cultural Research in Art Education. She also published several book chapters and has been invited as a keynote speaker at several national and international conferences.
